Cakes may contain nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, soya, gluten, lupin, sesame, or other allergens. Please contact Cakelin before ordering if allergies or dietary requirements are important.
OrderingHow much notice do I need to give?
Please allow 2 weeks for bulk cake-slice orders, 3 weeks for celebration cakes, and 6 weeks or more for wedding cakes. Short-notice orders may be possible depending on the diary.
Celebration cakesCan I personalise a celebration cake?
Yes. Use the Celebration Cake Enquiry to choose the occasion, shape, size, flavour, colours, style, cake message, extras and inspiration. Cakelin confirms availability and your personal quotation before the booking is secured.
Celebration cakesCan I upload an image or add a message?
Yes. Uploads are used as inspiration, topper ideas, logos or design references. You can also add cake wording, but final placement and suitability are confirmed by Cakelin.
Celebration cakesCan I request a flavour or icing colour not listed?
Yes. Choose the custom flavour or custom colour option and describe what you want, for example pastel blue, pale lilac, or white with gold details.
Wedding cakesDo you make wedding cakes?
Yes. Wedding cakes have their own enquiry flow with round or square tiers, serving guide, flavour direction, style, event date, venue and consultation notes.

A consultation is recommended for wedding cakes because tiers, servings, venue setup, transport, flavours and decorative details need careful planning.
Payments and depositsIs the consultation fee refundable?
The £35 wedding consultation fee is credited towards the deposit when the wedding cake is booked.

For wedding cakes, final payment is due three weeks before the wedding date. Bulk cake slices and celebration cakes are due one week before the agreed date unless the invoice states otherwise.
Collection and deliveryDo you deliver?
Collection is available from Cakelin in Leeds. Delivery can be discussed and is priced separately because cakes need careful transport.

Yes. Choose or request a collection date and time during the order or enquiry process. Cakelin will confirm the exact collection slot.

Yes. Vegan Vanilla Delight and Vegan Chocolate Dream are prepared as vegan slice options, and vegan requirements can be discussed for custom cakes.

Changes and cancellationsCan I change my order after submitting?
Small changes may be possible if work has not started and ingredients or decorative items have not been prepared. Contact Cakelin as soon as possible.
Storage and servingHow do I store my cake?
Fresh cakes are best enjoyed close to collection. Storage guidance depends on filling, decoration and weather, so Cakelin will advise for your specific cake.

Website prices are guide or starting prices where noted. Bespoke and wedding cakes are confirmed by Cakelin after checking design, size, timing and availability.
