From My Passion to Cakelin

My love of baking began in childhood, when I would make simple cakes from everyday ingredients and enjoy them with tea alongside my family. As I grew, so did my passion. I began exploring new recipes, flavours and techniques, creating cakes for my children’s birthdays and special family occasions.

Encouraged by the wonderful reactions of family and friends, I decided to turn that passion into a small business from my home kitchen. With a degree in business and a desire to develop my craft further, I completed advanced training in cake-making and decorating. I learned how thoughtful details, from the flavour and texture of every layer to the final decoration, can transform a cake into something truly special.

What began as a home-based cake business has now grown into Cakelin: a boutique cake and coffee shop created to bring people together over beautiful flavours and memorable moments. Alongside our luxury cake slices, celebration cakes and wedding cakes, Cakelin now offers handcrafted cheesecakes, signature kunafa, tiramisu, premium ice cream, milkshakes, matcha, and carefully prepared coffee and tea.

Although Cakelin has grown, the heart behind it remains the same. Everything is created with care, quality ingredients and close attention to detail. Whether it is a bespoke cake for an important celebration or a slice of cake enjoyed with coffee, I want every visit to feel special.

My greatest joy is still seeing someone’s face light up when they first see their cake, and light up again after their first bite. Cakelin is the story of a lifelong passion becoming something I can share with others, one beautiful creation and one sweet moment at a time.
